I made this little quilt for fun for the front door. We do not have a tradition of celebrating Halloween in Denmark - but it has come a little closer.
The quilt is made with the block I have on my free patterns page. Around the block I have a red/orange 1/2 inch border. Then a 1 1/2 - 2 inch border and last the border around the little quilt. Before quilting I have put an extra thick layer of batting just where the pumpkin is. Then I have quilted around with "doodles" and then made face with machine embroidery.
I am going to find a way to hang the quilt on the door. Have an idea, but have to buy the stuff first.
